Hi Dave,
The groups that
got a grant directly from the Council in 2005/6, and the amount they
received, were:
Worcester Citizens
Advice Bureau: £21,260
Worcestershire
Relate: £1,110
Worcestershire
Victim Support: £810
Worcester Rape
and Sexual Abuse Support Centre: £470
This year, these
organisations haven’t been funded by the Council.
The following
groups and organisations received money from the South Worcestershire
Community Safety Partnership in 2005/6, which the Council is part
of:
The Asha Centre
(Women Only Services): £27,625
Worcester Rape
and Sexual Abuse Support Centre: £20,000
Worcester and
Malvern’s Women’s Aid, Helpline and Outreach: 10,000
Stonham Housing,
Domestic Violence Outreach: 15,000
The following
groups and organisations received money from the Safer Communities
Board in 2006/7, which the Council is part of:
Worcester Rape
and Sexual Abuse Support Centre: £3,736
Probation Service
– Specialist Domestic Violence Courts: £15,000
I hope that is
the information you need. The Council also currently operate the Sanctuary
scheme and the Community Safety Partnership run Safe and Sound, both
of which offer extra security to those who have suffered Domestic
Violence.
