Subject: Official request for information by Men's Aid

Dear Mr Mortimer

I am responding to your FOI Request. I apologise for replying on the last of the 20 working days available to us under FOI, but I discovered that the information that I was originally intending to send to you was incomplete. I have now checked the data and I believe we now have all the figures.

Wigan Council funds one organisation which provides support for victims of domestic violence. DIAS (i.e. Drop In And Share) receives £23,400 from the Children and Young People's Services Department and £2000 from the Community Protection Department per annum. I understand that it also receives £20000 in Neighbourhood Renewal Funding.

DIAS provides support to both male and female victims.

Regards
