Dear Mr Wiffen,

I can confirm that in the London Borough of Waltham Forest there are two programs for male perpetrators of domestic violence. There is a mandatory men’s perpetrator’s programme run by the Probation Service for convicted offenders and an East London Domestic Violence perpetrators programme for unconvicted male offenders only. The Council does not currently have a program for female perpetrators of domestic violence.

I can also confirm that approximately £12,000 is provided in funding by the Council to the East London Domestic Violence perpetrators program, this amount will be reassessed next year.

With kind regards,
