Subject: Request for information

Dear Mr Mortimer

I refer to your request for information concerning funding for victims of domestic abuse. The request fell between different service areas, and I am unclear as to which services may have responded. However, for the avoidance of doubt, please accept this aggregate response, with apologies if you have already received part or all the information.

Our Housing Strategy, Supporting People team directly funds two schemes:
1 Women's Aid Hostel - 8 units - £96,839.15
2 Women's Aid Floating Support - 8 units - £27,811.30

In addition, Trafford Children's Fund supports two projects which have some crossover with adults services. These are Women's Aid - £29,000, which funds a children's play worker and senior children and young people's worker, and Victim Support - £10,000 per year, this funds a schools liaison worker to deliver lessons and workshops in all schools in Trafford around staying safe. They also fund Relate to deliver young persons counselling in schools.

I hope this information is satisfactory, please do not hesitate to contact me with any queries. I would be grateful if you would confirm receipt of this e-mail.

Yours sincerely

Nick Evans
