Hi David,
As discussed in our telephone conversation this Local Authority does
not fund any DV support groups. The Home Improvements Department provides
a service called "Home Safe" which entails the services
of a handyman to install security devices [mainly to doors and windows]
This is available free of charge to all vulnerable service users irrespective
of gender or age and includes victims of DV. The Tonbridge and Malling
Crime and Disorder Partnership includes the reduction of Violent Crime
and support for victims of DV in its Strategy and provides some funding.
Unfortunately the Freedom of information Act includes specific bodies
and does not cover CDRPs.
I hope the contact
I gave you at KCC proved useful.
The questions
you posed were:- How many help and support groups you fund directly
or indirectly for [A] Male [B] female victims and their children and
[C] how much each one receives.
If you have a
complaint about the way the Council has handled your request for information
you may use the Council's complaints procedure, which is available
on the Council's website.
Kind regards
