Dear Mr Mortimer

In response to your request for information regarding how many help and support groups Test Valley Borough Council fund directly or indirectly (a) male and (b) female victims of domestic violence and their children I can confirm the following:

1. We provide £16,400 revenue funding for domestic violence crisis centre for women & children. This provide 19 bedspaces.

2. Through Test Valley Community Safety Partnership £2,200 has been agreed towards the cost of a county wide domestic violence coordinator.

3. A further £5,000 is being recommended towards the cost of the development of a local child contact centre to provide a safe, neutral environment for parent/child contact in cases where there has been problems of domestic violence.

Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely
