Dear Mr Wiffen

There is one voluntary perpetrator programme for men in Stockton, it is called CHRYSALIS and is provided by North Tees Women's Aid.
There is also a mandatory CDVP (Community Domestic Violence Perpetrators Programme) delivered by the Probation Service that individuals from Stockton may be instructed by the courts to complete. This is for Males only and is funded by Probation.
There are no voluntary perpetrator programme’s for women in Stockton
The council does not allocate funding for the CHRYSALIS perpetrator programme but does provide £14,500 for domestic violence support services for men women and children.

Dear Mr Mortimer

We currently run an outreach service and perpetrator programme for victims of domestic abuse. Both front line staff and community staff raise awareness to victims of domestic violence of services that are available to them in the area, and it’s not specific.

There is one in the Stockton area ‘Stockton Outreach Centre’ and one in Hartlepool.

Currently there are no known male victims of domestic violence registered to this service.

The figures I have received are; -

Stockton Borough Council Community Safety Refuge 14000

Stockton Borough Council Community Safety Children 10000

The following information is currently jointly funded.

Children, Education and Social Care fund a 37hr Social Worker plus £19475

Headroom (community safety) £30000

Nrf £25200

Building Safer Communities £37647

Stockton Housing £25000

Supporting People £26242

Government North East £11000

Police £10000

Yours sincerely
