Dear Mr. Mortimer,
We have two organisations
within the borough that this authority directly contributes funding
to assist the victims of domestic violence. The total amount of support
for 05/06 was £264,233 (split 50/50 between them). To date the
funding for 06/07 is based on the same figures but discussions will
be taking place with all our providers during the coming months when
we will be negotiating contracts and applying the Value for Money
Policy. Unfortunately these organisations only cater for female victims
and their families.
Yours sincerely
Peter Satterthwaite
