Dear Mr Wiffen,

I can confirm that there are no domestic violence perpetrator programs run by Salford City Council.

We do however fund some initiatives for victims of domestic violence. The funding is detailed below, these initiatives relate to female victims:

Volunatary Sector Revenue Budget - £39,000 Outreach work
Community Care grant - £40,762 Specialist Childrens worker
Supporting People - £267,694

With the addition of funding for 2006-2007 for advocacy project £91,000
£31,000 Community Health & Social Care
£40,000 Surestart
£20,000 Home Office

Salford City Council do not directly fund and support groups for male or female victims of domestic abuse and/or their children.

Best wishes
