Dear Mr Wiffen
South Lakeland District
Council does not directly run or fund perpetrator programmes. However,
through the South Lakeland Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership,
of which the Council is a key partner, funding to the value of £7,000
has been allocated to the SAFE Domestic Violence Project, based in
Barrow in Furness, towards the provision of services for South Lakes
residents. One of these services is a male perpetrator programme.
There are no female perpetrator programmes.
Yours sincerely
Jenny Draper
Policy Officer - Partnerships

Dear Mr Mortimer,
South Lakeland
District Council does not fund, either directly or indirectly, any
organisations specifically concerned with supporting the needs of
male or female victims of domestic violence.
We do support
the Citizens Advice Bureau which may help such victims from time to
time. We make an annual grant to the CAB of £73,000.
Yours sincerely,
David Sykes
