Dear Mr Wiffen,

The London Borough of Redbridge currently does not fund any perpetrator programmes. But there are plans to resurrect the domestic violence intervention project to apply for funds and progress on this. The Probation service deal with male perpetrators, once they have been ordered by the courts, they attend an Integrated Domestic Abuse programme, there are approx 27 sessions with 9 modules, to cover issues, such as; respect, parenting, negotiation, and acknowledging abusive behaviour etc. This is funded by the London probation service. There are currently no specifically designed programmes for female perpetrators in Redbridge as yet.

Yours sincerely,
Carla Ralph
