An objective of the Powys
Community Safety Partnership is to target perpetrators of domestic
abuse by making them aware of help available. This objective is taken
forward by the Powys Domestic Abuse Forum. Powys Domestic Abuse Forum
is a multi-agency partnership of statutory and voluntary organisations
that are committed to reducing the incidence of domestic abuse and
includes representatives from Powys County Council, Powys Local Health
Board, Police, Probation, Women's Aid, PDAC and Victim Support Powys.

Powys Domestic Abuse Forum
received funding of £2,000 from Powys County Council in the
last financial year. Through this group, the Probation Service run
an Integrated Domestic Abuse Programme (IDAP) for perpetrators of
Domestic Violence which is funded by Dyfed-Powys Probation Service.

In addition, Powys County
Council provided funding of £11,579 to Montgomeryshire Family
Crisis Centre. This is a voluntary organisation which provides support
for perpetrators (both male and female) of domestic violence. It runs
a 26 week intensive Perpetrator Programme addressing and controlling
abusive behaviour.
