Dear Mr Mortimer
The Council contributes
£3000 directly per annum towards the provision of a Domestic
Violence Co-ordinator employed by Warwickshire County Council. The
Council is working in partnership with the County Council, the other
Warwickshire district and Borough Councils, Warwickshire Police and
Warwickshire Domestic Violence Support Services to provide support
for victims of domestic violence.
The Council has also contributed
£6000 towards the provision of a pilot drop in support service
at three locations in the borough during 2005/06 and 2006/07. This
in addition to a £14,940 contribution from the North Warwickshire
Community Safety Partnership. This pilot project has been set up in
partnership with the North Warwickshire Primary Care Trust and the
partners listed above.
I am not able to provide
you with a separate breakdown of funding for male, female and children
victims.
I hope this information
is useful.
Yours sincerely
