I refer to your email of 27 June requesting information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

In the current financial year the Council has made a financial contribution of £9,000 to the outreach service of East Surrey Domestic Violence Forum based at Redhill. I understand the Forum supports both male and female victims of domestic violence. In addition the local Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership ( of which the Council is one of the partners) has contributed £2,500 towards the BVPI Sanctuary scheme costs for victims of domestic violence in Mole Valley.
