How many help
and support groups are funded directly or indirectly for (A) male
and (B) female victims of domestic violence and their children and
(C) how much each one receives pa.
MK Lighthouse
provide support to males and females who are victims of domestic violence.
In 2006.07 they will receive funding of £126,000 from both statutory
and voluntary sources. Additionally some staff are seconded by other
agencies who continue to meet their costs.
Women's Aid are
a charitable organisation providing support, advice, information and
24 hour emergency access to safe accommodation for female and child
victims of domestic violence, as such I am unable to comment on their
funding.
