We fund one organisation
- Christian Family Care - who provide refuge places accessible to
our Mid Beds residents. They have received £20,000 in total
for 2006/7 towards this and other support work with vulnerable families.
The refuge places are for women and their children only and the support
work is usually too.
I was interested
to hear about your organisation of which I was not aware before. If
you have any leaflets or other material you could send us and if you
have any specific work taking place within the district, we'd be happy
to do what we can to promote this.
