Dear Mr Wiffen

I can confirm that Mendip District Council does not directly fund any domestic violence perpetrator schemes and, therefore, we do not hold the information you have requested.

Dear Mr Mortimer

During 2005/2006 Mendip District Council funded (via its Voluntary Sector Budget) Somerset Victim Support £2,091 and RELATE Somerset £14,280. The funding was given to the organisations towards delivery of all their services (core funding) and not any specific one.

Both these organisations have, as part of their overall operations, a part to play in supporting victims of domestic abuse – male and female. So, we fund the organisations but not specifically for their work with domestic abuse victims.
