Dear Mr Wiffen

I have now heard from the Council’s Housing Manager and the information you have requested is listed below.

Domestic Violence Intervention Project – Developing a Perpetrators’s Strategy :-

· Programme facilitated co-jointly with the West Mercia Probation Service and Women Service providers in Worcestershire, promote and adhere to the safe and best practice of RESPECT (2000)
· Information leaflets have been produced for Court users, Women service users and men participating on the programme
· The programme for perpetrators of DV – is facilitated by the West Mercia Probation Services Programme unit.
· Access to programme is via Court Orders
· Self help leaflet has been developed by the Forum for men who are considering changes in terms of the impact their abusive behaviour may be having on intimate partnerships and children

We do not, as a Council, provide funding for the above Programme or related Services – unless advice and assistance is provided by CAB to whom an annual grant is paid by the Council

Yours sincerely
