Dear Dave,

I am responding to your request for information which you sent on 27 June 2006.

Maldon District Council Housing provides financial help for victims of domestic violence

In response to your specific questions (A) None (B) One (C) £6,500 in 2006/07

Maldon Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership also provides some financial and practical support for Maldon Domestic Violence Forum although this is not directly Maldon District Council.

However I can advise you that Maldon Community Safety Partnership (via Domestic Violence Sub Group) provides the following support:-

- Support the Perpetrator Programme (Provider: Probation Service) - also targets victims - £2,500 2006/07
- Multi-agency training (Provider: Essex Police) - £1,000 2006/07

Should you require any further information or are seeking clarification on the above, then please contact Peter Layzell.

Yours sincerely

Eva McNeill
