Further to your request
made under the Freedom of Information Act, for information regarding
funding for support groups for male and female victims of domestic
violence and their children, we are now in a position to provide you
with a response.
Please see the attached
spreadsheet ('Funded Organisations') which details grants awarded
from the Children's Social Care (CSC) budget to the Voluntary, Community
and Faith Sector (VCFS) organisations for the financial years 2004/05
and 2005/06 (on separate sheets of the spreadsheet). There were no
grants approved for 2006/07 due to insufficient funding. Please note
that the VCFS grant year runs from July to June, and not the financial
year April to March.
