Dear Dave

Hertsmere Borough Council gives a grant to the St Albans and Hertsmere Womens Refuge - £5,000 for 06/07. It also grant aids NOVAS Group (previously known as Watford Womens Refuge) - £2,500 for 06/07.

Neither of these refuges currently support male victims of domestic violence.

With funding from the Home Office under 'Safer, Stronger Communities Fund' Hertsmere's Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP) gives £2,500 to the Domestic Violence Help Line - which I understand is for anyone to contact and therefore not gender specific.

Yours sincerely
