Re: your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

This is the response to your request which was received on 27 June. I attach a memo from the team that deals with grants. I hope this satisfies your enquiry.

    1. Organisations that provide support to women and men who are victims of domestic abuse are funded by Supporting People and the Children and Families section of Children's Services via grants and contracts.

    1. Organisations that provide services that might be accessed by victims of domestic violence are rape crisis services, funded via contracts by Mental Health care group of Adult Services.

    1. Chief Executive's policy department, Children's Services and Adult Services are working together on the Daphne II European project on domestic violence and are working in partnership with the Hampton Trust. Hampton Trust is leading the project on behalf of the County Council.  Contributions from the County Council over the two years duration is €3725 Euros from Mental Health, €3740 from Children's Services, €4350 from PMU (Adult Services) for evaluation and €9935 from GOSE.

    1. Supporting People supports 11 women's refuges in Hampshire with a total capacity of 94 places and total contract values of £1,034,326 and 7 outreach/floating support services that work with both men and women at risk of or escaping domestic violence with a total capacity of 140 places and total contract values of £133,240
