Subject: Freedom of Information Act request.

Dave,

You asked for figures on the area of domestic violence funding.

1) We do not directly fund any agency as yet, as the new refuge is not due to open until next year.
2) Indirectly, we fund a domestic violence floating support service for reallocations, using allocated supporting people monies. This amounted to £32760 last year and is dependant on numbers helped. The providers are a women’s DV organisation. We also fund Relate at £700 pa which is general.
3) For information, we had two homelessness cases last year concerning domestic violence against men. This is a fairly constant number year on year. On average this is about 2% of the number of DV cases per year.
