Subject: Request for Information
Dear Sir,
We have been asked to provide information on funding for domestic
violence. The DV awareness campaign cost total almost £13,000.
The police fund £2,000, Government Office SW £4,1000 the
rest will be funded from the £5333 Crime and disorder Reduction
Partnership for the coordinator's salary as it is a county wide project.
We have agreed also to give £3,110 to DVSAP to assist with
retraction surgeries. However, non of this is unded by the City Council
- it is funded by the Home Office.
There is likely to be funding from Gloucestershire County Council
and/or Police
The latest figure from Gloucester Domestic Violence Support Advocatey
Project is that they dealt with 9 male clients and 1 same sex client
(no details of geneder though).
Hope this is what you require.
