Dear Michael
Please be advised that
there is currently one programme ongoing which is a partnership arrangement
between Forth Valley Criminal Justice (FVCJ) Grouping and Sacro. The
programme is 20 weeks in length.
While we do not run a groupwork
programme for female perpetrators, Criminal Justice Social workers
do address anger management, aggression and other forms of violent
behaviour with women offenders.
Falkirk Council do not
provide the funding for the partnership programme - it is 100% funded
directly from the Scottish Executive to the FV CJ Grouping who administer
the funding.

Dear Mr. Mortimer,
To my knowledge,
the Council has not been approached for funding by any organisations
who provide help and support to male victims of domestic abuse. The
Council provides financial support to Women’s Aid, which provides
accommodation and support services to women and children affected
by domestic violence. The amount of funding provided to Women’s
Aid for the current financial year is £233,118.
I trust that this
answers your enquiry and apologise for the delay in replying.
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Anderson,
Head of Service.
