Subject: Official request for information by Men's Aid

I am writing in response to your email for information regarding funding provided directly or indirectly by Essex County Council to help and support groups for male and female victims of domestic violence and their children.

The Council have made 2 grants Grants to voluntary and community organisations allocated for 2006-2007 which is relevant to this request for information.

1. HEAL (Helping Everyone Abused Live) were allocated £7,097 - they support adult survivor's of childhood abuse.

2. Chelmsford Women's Aid - were allocated £10,000. This relates to Cat b of the request.

I hope this answers your request, please contact me if you require further assistance.

Yours sincerely
