Dear Mr Mortimer,
The County Council
provides specific funding and also works in partnership with each
of the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships (CDRPs) at district
and borough level and is now the overall accountable body for their
funding although decisions on their spend is taken locally.
In addition the
County Council provides overall co-ordination and strategy development
of Domestic Violence through the provision of one co-ordinator.
A. There are no
support groups specifically for male victims.
B. There are two
groups specifically for female victims.
The other groups
offer support to both genders.
