Subject: Request for Information

Dear David

Thank-you for your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act. I am happy to provide this information.

East Northamptonshire Council are funding Victim Support and Women’s Aid for the next three years, they will each receive £3,000. Victim Support were given a £1,000 publicity grant last year.

The Community Safety Team within East Northamptonshire Council provide no set yearly amount to agencies involved in domestic abuse, but if they require small amounts of money throughout the year for projects, we will help fund that as and when if the budget allows this.

The Integrated Domestic Violence Perpetrator Program is funded through the money received by the home office. The funding is till March 2007 and for the last financial year £5,000 was spent.

No funding is given directly to agencies who support male victims of abuse. Victim Support will offer this support if necessary.

If you require any further information, please feel free to e-mail or phone me on 01832 742257.

Many thanks
