East Herts Council
and the separate body East Herts Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership
(CDRP) funds various different Domestic Violence projects.
As the Partnership
Manager I shall give the breakdown for both and identify the source
of the grant accordingly.
CDRP
1. For the running
of the East Herts and Broxbourne Domestic Violence Forum £2500
(this is a charity which co-ordinates the work of all parties in the
two districts)
2. Contribution
towards Hertfordshire Domestic Violence Helpline £2200
Council
3. Sanctuary room
costs as they arise (last financial year 1 room £744 net VAT)
4. Women’s Aid Annual grant of £2000 plus £150 for
each referral
Numbers 1-3 are
aimed at all victims of domestic violence
Item 4 funds work by Women’s aid and therefore aimed at women
victims only.
