Dear Mr Wiffen
Dover Dover District Council
do not provide any programmes for either sex. However, Dover Crime
and Disorder Reduction Partnership, of which Dover District Council
is a member, does fund, along with Shepway and Ashford CDRP's, a pilot
programme working with male perpetrators. This is a pilot programme
for Kent in 2006-07 and other CDRP's are looking to come onboard for
2007-08. There are no female perpetrators programme accredited so
we can not at this time offer one.
Dover District Council
puts no funding into the male perpetrator pilot at this time, but
it may be approached in the future if the pilot programme is successful.
Yours sincerely

Dear Mr Mortimer
I can confirm that the
Council provides an annual grant to Stonham Housing Group towards
the running of the women's refuge. Payments are generally made at
the end of each financial year, and for 2005-2006 we paid £6777.00.
In addition to this, we also make a grant payment to the Citizens
Advice Bureau in Dover and Deal totalling £83,000, plus they
received concessionary rentals of £10,000 in Deal and £1,800
in Dover.
If you have any queries
regarding the information please contact me.
Yours sincerely
