Dear Sir,

The Council pays an annual grant of £10,000.00 to the Derwentside Domestic Violence Forum. The Forum comprises statutory and voluntary agencies, and its services are available to all victims of domestic abuse, regardless of sex, age or sexual orientation.

In addition, council tenants are liable to pay for the cost of repairing damage to their properties. These costs are waived where the damage is caused to the property of a DV victim.
