Dear Mr Wiffen
Coventry City Council do
not directly deliver domestic violence perpetrator programs for male
victims but contract out this service to Coventry Relate. Coventry
Relate provide non mandated community perpetrator programmes for male
perpetrators and to-date have run one city-wide programme and are
due to commence another city-wide programme.
We do not have any domestic
violence perpetrator programs for female perpetrators of domestic
violence.
Coventry City Council are
not directly responsible for providing funding however support is
given through two of the partnerships in the City on which the local
authority are represented. Funding through these partnership arrangements
is as set out below:
Funds held by Community
Safety Partnership – allocation of £38,650
Funds held by Coventry
Domestic Violence and Abuse Partnership – allocation of £20,000
In relation to female perpetrators
of domestic violence, as indicated above, funding is not provided
by the Coventry City Council or through any partnership arrangements
they are party to.
Yours sincerely
