"Corby BC
and Corby Community Safety Partnership provide support and funding
to domestic violence/abuse organisations as follows:
1) Northern Sunflower
Project, which provides support to female; male and child victims
of domestic violence and abuse - £28,900 in 2006/2007 CBC mainstream
grant funding via Grants and Regeneration of Culture and Leisure Service
Area.
2) Northants Probation
Service IDAP (Integrated Domestic Abuse Programme), which targets
DA perpetrators and aims to change offender behaviour - in 2005/2006
- £8,000 external funding from GOEM to Corby CSP. In 2006/2007
£9,879 external funding from Northants LAA Safer & Stronger
Communities Fund to Corby CSP
3) Sunflower Project
& Northants Police Police - Funding provision for purchase of
24hr Rescue Packs for DA victims - in 2006/07, a one of payment of
£4,580 from Corby & Kettering Domestic Abuse Forum, from
funds held on behalf of ODPM (now DCLG) Homelessness Grants.
4) Corby &
Kettering Domestic Abuse Forum/Northern Sunflower Project - a porposed
one-off payment of £750 to promote awareness of local and regional
DA Helpline Numbers on bus tickets issued in Corby area (Stagecoach).
Other one-off
payments from domestic abuse support agencies would be considered
on application from the agency concerned, subject to acceptance of
funding bid by the Corby CSP Board."
