Dear Mr Mortimer
The Chorley &
South Ribble Domestic Abuse Forum currently focus on women only who
are victims of domestic abuse. However, there are many services who
are members of the forum who also deal with male victims and no one
particular service, to my knowledge, would ever refuse to help a male
victim who contacted their service.
2006 /07 funding
allocation on behalf of both Chorley and South Ribble Borough Councils
are as follows, although this may vary throughout the progression
of project plans and events.
• Chorley
& South Ribble Domestic Abuse Counselling and Advocacy Service
(DACAS) - £18,100.
• Training Group - £7,050
• Young Peoples Group - £800
• Advisory Group - £1,500
• Events & Awareness Group - £12,600
• Housing Group - £500
I hope this information
assists you in your project, please contact me if you need further
information.
Kind Regards
Heather Corson
