Subject: Official request for information by Men's Aid

Dear Mr Mortimer,

Thank you for your request for information under the Freedom of Information act. I hope the following information is helpful and if I can be of any more help, please contact me.

From April 2006, the Council provides a Strategic Grant to Cheshire Domestic Abuse Partnership (CDAP) of £25,000 to tackle domestic violence. The grant is specifically for £14,000 Child Worker at Refuge, £9,000 Outreach Service, £2000 CDAP Co-ordinator. CDAP services are aimed at support for women and children experiencing domestic abuse but there is information on their website about services for men. CDAP website is http://www.cheshire.gov.uk/domesticabuse/men/ServicesForMen.htm

Regards
