Dear Mr Mortimer,

In reply to your request for information, I have pleasure enclosing the information you requested. In 03/04 CM CDRP supported Northumberland Domestic Violence Project to the sum of £5000 with funding from the Home office Building safer Communities Fund. The funding addressed objectives and priorities of the CDRP. No funding has been given since then. Funding given by the CDRP to victim support was for general outreach work in the more remote villages in the district and whilst victims of domestic violence may have been supported the funding was not specific to address Domestic violence. CMBC and CDRP are represented by the South East Northumberland Domestic Violence Forum. In addition the council gave £3357 to victim support last year, again this was not specifically for Domestic Violence.
