Sadly there are no perpetrator
programmes for men or women run, funded or co-ordinated by the City
Council. There aren't any run by any other agency either in this district.
The City Council does provide
administration support for the Domestic Violence Forum and has co-ordinated
the first domestic violence strategy in the district. It also has
a best value performance indicator on domestic violence but nothing
on perpetrator programmes. At this Council your contact for this topic
is mark.richardson@canterbury.gov.uk

Hello,
How many help and support
groups we fund in/directly for male victims of DV and their children?
At present, the Canterbury
District does not have any known support groups funded by the Crime
and Disorder Reduction Partnership.
How many help and support
groups we fund in/directly for female victims of DV and their children?
The Crime and Disorder
Reduction Partnership has funded £1500 for the Canterbury District
Domestic Violence Forum in order to buy IT equipment. The CDRP also
funds a £30 room hire charge, bi monthly, for the Forum meetings
to be held.
How much each one receives
p/a
This is dependent upon
funding applications received and granted.
