Further to your request
for information below I can now provide the following information
-
Grants were made to Broxtowe
Women's Project in 2005/06 of £2,00 through the "grants
to voluntary bodies" budget and also £1,334 through the
Broxtowe Action Fund for two domestic violence and disability training
sessions.
Although no grants
were made specifically to male victims of domestic abuse, any applications
for funding which the Council did receive on behalf of those groups
would be considered on an equal basis to those form the Women's Project.
