Subject: BDC - Funding.

Broadland District Council currently support Leeway. Leeway Norwich Women’s Refuge is established for the benefit of abused women and their children. They also provide training, workshops, lobbying and work with other agencies and LA’s. I think they also support women who are going through court proceedings/hospital visits etc.

Broadland District Council supports Leeway Women’s Aid through a grant based contribution which is currently set at £10,000 per year.

I hope this is helpful. If you would like to know more about the BDC grant programme, may I suggest that you refer to our website. We also support locally based organisations who come to us through helping them prepare funding bids and advising on other sources of funding.

Best wishes
