Your request for information has now been considered and the information requested is detailed below;

ADC Housing/Homelessness section:

£10,000 provided to Mansfield and Ashfield Safety Centre (MAWA) to enable provision of advice and support to women fleeing violence in a multi agency partnership setting (agreed 15th December 2005)***.

£1,500 towards two additional units in Ashfield and Mansfield Safety Centre (2005-2006).

ADC Homeless section provides housing support and advice for male victims of Domestic Violence

(***this was a one off payment however ADC Housing Section will be submitting a report for the same amount for this financial year.)

The Ashfield Partnership Against Crime has committed continuous funding from 2005-2006 onwards:

£500 Contribution towards the Countywide DV service directory.

£500 for 3 DV training sessions per year

£1,000 Education Packs

£500 Publicity/Awareness raising.

£2000 provided to victim support for 2006-2007

Previous funding towards DV from APAC has included:

£2000 SSCF Funding to Victim Support 2005-2006

£1000 BSC Funding to Victim Support 2004-2005

£3000 (2003-2004) Funding provided to Nottinghamshire Police A Division towards Capital Items and development costs of regional DV Common Monitoring Programme.

Additional DV Funding:

£40,000 has been provided to the County towards Domestic Violence to be split equally between each CDRP area. The Commissioning Group are taking forward how the funding will be used.

SAFE/APAC:

Funding provided to Nottinghamshire Police, Crime Prevention Unit for equipment protecting vulnerable residents in Ashfield including the fitting of equipment such as door locks, window locks, alarms etc
