Dear Mr Wiffen

There will be one perpetrator programme in Amber Valley commencing Spring 2007 for male perpetrators. Amber Valley Borough Council does not fund any support services or perpetrator programmes for domestic violence. These are being established in partnership between Derbyshire County Council, the Police, voluntary sector, and with support from the Community Safety Partnership.

Dear Mr Mortimer

I am able to inform you that there are five support groups within the Amber Valley/Erewash area. These groups are funded by bids to various funders, including Derbyshire County Council, Bridging the Gap, CVS, the Police and Amber Valley Housing Limited. All of the venues are available to male victims and one to one support for males is provided to those who access the services. The funding received relates to all groups therefore there is no breakdown of funds per venue per annum. During 2004/05, approximately £8,500 was received and used for support services.
